This mare has a temperament that is second to none. She has been shown at halter and under saddle with success. She stands approximately 15.2 hands and is a big roomy mare.
I purchased Sophie when she was a yearling and brought her over from Canberra ACT. She was leased out to a friend as a rising 2 year old and broken in. She returned to me as a three year old and I was going to sell her until I rode her. Even as a green broke horse she was awesome and I decided to keep her and campaigne her under saddle as well as halter. I spent many hours training this mare as she was such a pleasure to ride, possibly one of the best horse I have ever ridden.
When Sophie was 5 years old I decided that I would give up riding as work commitments made it almost impossible to work her and keep her going under saddle so she became a broodmare.
Sophie has produced 3 stunning foals. 2 by "IMPRESSIVE RULER" who is by Rule Breakin (Imp) out of an MBJ Charmer mare (Acutting Impression - 2000 Gelding, The Charmed One - 2003 Filly) and 1 by TQs Classic Kid (Imp) (Acutting Classic - 2004 Gelding). Sophie definitely passed on her excellent movement and exquisite temperament to her progeny. Both foals by Impressive Rule now reside in Victoria and to all reports doing extremely well. Acutting Classic has been sold to SA and will hopefully be shown under saddle next year.
